Artist Spotlight: Pino Palladino

We were absolutely thrilled when Pino Palladino agreed to collaborate with us on Unidentified Flying Project. He played on There Is A Dream and also the forthcoming Dance The Rain release and on both occasions, it was an experience that left me utterly bereft of appropriate words of appreciation.

Musically, these two tracks are fairly simple but somehow Pino managed to bring an interpretation to the bass part that provided an insight into his vision, which is unparalleled. He makes any track or song sound like it is all built on his playing, which in reality is probably the case. He anticipates and therefore leads the direction in which all the players and singers go.
